NSW: Woman pleads guilty to inciting lover to kill father

A woman has admitted inciting her lover to hack her father to death as revenge forthe sexual abuse of her brother.

BELINDA JEAN VAN KREVEL, aged 22, faces a possible 25 years behind bars after pleadingguilty in the New South Wales Supreme Court to solicitation of murder over the killingof her father, JACK VAN KREVEL, in August 2000.

VAN KREVEL'S former lover KEITH ANDREW SCHREIBER is serving a minimum 12-year sentencefor her father's murder.

JACK VAN KREVEL, aged 48, was found in his Albion Park home near Wollongong after beingstruck 25 times with a tomahawk and stabbed 16 times with a knife.

BELINDA VAN KREVEL blamed her father for the fact her brother, MARK VALERA, would spendthe rest of his life in jail.

VALERA was jailed for life after the murder of two Wollongong men in 1998. During hismurder trial it was alleged his father had sexually abused him.

BELINDA VAN KREVEL remains in custody and will be sentenced on March 21.
